Description

HDPE butt fusion coupling is a connection method mainly used for the connection of HDPE pipes. This connection method heats the ends of the HDPE pipe to melt it, and then quickly butts the two molten surfaces together to form a strong connection. After the connection is completed, a certain pressure needs to be maintained until the joint cools down to ensure the stability and durability of the connection. Operation steps

The specific steps of HDPE butt fusion coupling include cleaning the interface ends of pipes and fittings, planing the connection surfaces of pipes and fittings to ensure that the gap does not exceed a certain range, and then placing the heating tool between the two connection surfaces, bringing the pipe close to the heating tool and applying a certain pressure until it melts to form a smooth and symmetrical flange along the entire outer circumference of the pipe. After the heating is completed, the connecting piece should be quickly separated from the butt connection heating tool, and a uniform external force should be used to make it fully contact to form a uniform flange. The connection is completed after the hardness of the flange reaches a certain level.
