HDPE subsoil pipe is a flexible pipe made of polymer materials, which is widely used in municipal drainage, agricultural irrigation, industrial water supply and other fields. According to different structures, it is mainly divided into:
HDPE solid wall pipe (Solid Wall Pipe): The pipe wall is uniform and dense, suitable for high-pressure water supply, gas transportation and other scenes.
HDPE double-wall corrugated pipe (Corrugated Pipe): The inner and outer wall corrugated structure is lightweight and has high ring stiffness, which is suitable for municipal drainage.
Wire mesh skeleton reinforced HDPE pipe: embedded wire mesh, improves the pressure resistance, suitable for deep burial or heavy load areas.
1. Excellent physical and chemical properties
Strong pressure resistance: The ring stiffness can reach SN4-SN16, and the structure can still remain stable when buried 6 meters deep.
Corrosion resistance: It can withstand acid and alkali environments with pH 1-14, and is suitable for chemical wastewater discharge.
Good flexibility: It can adapt to uneven foundation settlement and allow 3% of the pipe diameter to deform without breaking.
2. Economical and environmentally friendly
Low construction cost: hot-melt connection reduces the risk of joint leakage, and the construction efficiency is 3 times higher than that of concrete pipes.
Long life: The design life is more than 50 years, which is much higher than PVC pipes (20-30 years).
Recyclable: 100% recyclable, in line with green building standards.

1. Foundation treatment
Sandy soil: Lay a 10cm medium sand cushion layer to ensure that the flatness deviation is ≤2cm/10m.
Clay soil: Add 15cm graded gravel and lay geotextile to prevent the pipe from settling.
2. Pipeline connection
Hot-melt butt welding: Applicable to DN≤315mm pipes, and the temperature is controlled at 210±5℃.
3. Special working condition treatment
Explosive vibration area: The vibration velocity needs to be monitored to ensure that the peak vibration velocity is ≤2.5cm/s to prevent the pipe from cracking.
Frozen soil area: The burial depth needs to exceed the freezing line by 20cm to avoid low-temperature embrittlement.
Raw material testing: melt flow rate (MFR) 0.2-0.4g/10min, oxidation induction time ≥20min.
Finished product testing: hydraulic test (1.5 times the working pressure for 1h), flat test (pressed to 40% deformation without cracking).
HDPE subsoil pipe is gradually replacing traditional pipes due to its excellent performance and environmental protection characteristics. In the future, with the development of intelligence and new material technology, its application scope will be further expanded. When selecting a project, it is necessary to combine geological conditions, load requirements and budget to ensure the best solution.
